I had a conversation with a colleague the other night. She kept on mentioning that it is impossible for her to do a photodocumentary because it brought her to close to reality. Thats when I realized that the further away you try to get from realiuty, the deeper into it you fall.

We all see surrealist and abstract art, we all think of it as the things that most escape reality. But those are the pictures that seem to be the most real in these days of ever changing reality. Taking pictures of the night I find how reality becomes bent and maybe for an instance escapes reality and becomes something more, Ultrareality.

Do not try to escpae reality, use it, don´t break the rules, bend them. Always treat your advantages as disadvantages and vice versa.
